Beach Colony Motel Policy Information
All rates include a 5% discount for payment in cash – please calculate the rate for payment accordingly.
PARKING: Only one parking space per unit is available. At no time will more than one car per unit be permitted on parking lot. Cannot guarantee parking for oversized vehicles.
USE OF FACILITIES: Facilities of the motel are for registered guest only. Visitors must register. Fee involved.
EXTRA PERSON IN ROOM: Fee Varies
RATES: Pay CASH and save…… All rates have been discounted 5% for the benefit of those who would like to pay in cash. Add 5% to the rates to determine the full rate. Rates may not apply to Holidays or Weekends, Groups or Conventions. Please write or call for rate information. A three night minimum stay may be required. N.J. Sales Tax and Tourism Tax of 13.625% is not included in the above rates. Gratuities not included.
DEPOSIT REQUIRED: A deposit of one days rental is required to confirm reservations of three days or less. A deposit of two days rental is required to confirm reservations of four days or more. Either would be credited to the last day(s) of the reservation. Reservations are held for one week only awaiting your deposit unless other arrangements have been made.
PAYMENT: YOUR BALANCE IS DUE IN FULL AT CHECK-IN, and is payable in cash or a certified check. No money orders or personal checks accepted for the balance due. Personal checks are accepted for deposit only 4 weeks prior to arrival and are not transferable. Misrepresentation voids reservation with no refund. Check return fee of $40.00.
CANCELLATION POLICY: All THIRD PARTY reservation(s) cancelled once a reservation has been confirmed and deposit paid, will incur a 5% credit card processing fee for any cancellation effective immediately. Prior to (21 days) or 3 weeks of check-in date – 75% refund will be given, MINUS a 25% Service Charge. Within 21 days of check-in date – NO refund. Early check-outs NO Refunds. No shows – NO REFUNDS. Request change of dates – NO REFUND. Weather related conditions – NO REFUNDS. Any unusual conditions out of our control – NO REFUND. Groups or Convention – Refer to your contracts. NO credit given for current year.
AGE POLICY: We do not rent out to young adults under the age of 25. Misrepresentation voids reservation.

Pet Policies - Must Call To Book When Bringing A Pet
PET FEES are payable in cash only on arrival
To maintain harmony in the motel and to ensure the comfort and safety of you, your pet(s), and other guests please read the following policies carefully. Any deviation from these policies may result in eviction and barring you from future stays with your pet(s). We appreciate your cooperation! We do have a $30 fee, per a pet, per a day policy plus tax.
Only working service dogs, which are legally defined and individually trained to meet disability-related needs by performing tasks, will be excused from this policy. Working service dogs are not pets. Pets, or service dogs in training, are not included. Emotional support dogs, which are not recognized by the Department of Justice, are also not included.
MAINTAINING CONTROL: Maintain control over your pet(s) at all times while on the property. They may not be permitted to run loose outside of your room. And must be on a leash at all times while on the property. Service animals and well-behaved pets are welcomed. They are permitted unless they pose a health, safety risk, or are prohibited by law.
BARKING: KEEP the time you're away as short as possible, to prevent excessive barking and you having to return to the room. Animals that pose a health or safety risk may not remain onsite and include those that, in our manager’s discretion, are too numerous for any one room, cause damage to our property or that of other guests, or are too disruptive – Barking; or not properly attended, or demonstrate undue aggression. Will be asked to leave the property.
UNATTENDED PETS: Pet(s) may be left in the room alone as long as our other guests are NOT disturbed by any noise. We ask that you provide your cell phone number to the Front Desk at check in, so you may be contacted if there is a problem. If there is a disturbance you may be requested either take your pet with you whenever you leave the room or asked to leave the motel, forfeiting all fees and room charges. I am responsible for all damages done by my pet while staying at the Beach Colony.
POOL AREA: Pet(s) are NOT permitted in the gated pool area, at any time ever.
HOUSEKEEPING: Rooms are cleaned between 10AM and 2PM. For the safety of your pet(s) and our staff, housekeepers are not permitted to enter a per room while you are NOT there – Except in case of an emergency. To receive service, please contact the Front Desk to make arrangements with housekeeping department. Rooms must be attended to by housekeeping at least every second day.
BATHING: Pets may not be bathed in guest room tubs.
If you have pet(s) coming with you on your vacation, please read ahead of time; sign this, print it out and bring it with you at check-in.
